What is Auto-OMA?
OMA is a procedure for the identification of the modal properties of a structure. The technique makes use of the vibration data collected when the structure is under its operating conditions. The Auto-OMA is an automated way of doing exactly the same. To be more precise – the Flamenco software makes the whole process as easy and intuitive as possible. It was designed with the user-friendly interface and user comfort as priorities. The Flamenco application aims to minimize the necessary user interaction when uploading and processing the structure’s data. With Auto OMA you can focus on SHM not the OMA.
Your Data, Your Property
We respect your privacy and the value of your data. All data processed through the Flamenco Cloud Software belongs to the owner and cannot be shared or stored elsewhere. Our commitment to data privacy ensures your information is used only for your chosen analysis and nothing else. With Flamenco Software, you not only get a powerful tool for SHM and OMA but also a trustworthy partner committed to protecting your data.
What is Structural Health Monitoring?
Structural health monitoring (SHM) is a process of analysis and observation of a structure to detect damage or just to obtain characteristics about it. It is important because it provides information on whether a building, wind turbine or bridge performs its intended function. It uses sensors that are installed on the structure to transfer data for further analysis. SHM is a crucial field of study that ensures the safety and reliability of infrastructure systems. Monitoring the structure can help to detect any damage or failures. In consequence, timely maintenance and repair can take place. SHM is related to civil engineering and it can be used to monitor the condition of structures such as bridges, wind turbines, tunnels, buildings etc.
What is EMA?
EMA (Experimental Modal Analysis) is the classical way to obtain modal parameters in industries like automotive and aerospace. In EMA both the excitation forces and the responses are known, and then the physical properties represented by the modal parameters can be estimated.
